The clothing industry is known to be one of the most biggest polluters among different industries. Especially so called fast fashion is straining our planet like no other. We want to do things differently and to prove that quality clothes can be made responsibly with a respect to our planet. We encourage everyone to take a look at their wardrobes and to think twice.
We want to make clothes that you can wear with pride. To fulfil that goal we are working with couple carefully selected subcontractors on our product manufacturing. These entities has gone through rigorous validation process where we focused on three key factors: sustainability, ethicality and quality. Two subcontractors passed this screen and we are proud to do business with them while being 100% sure that our products are made how they are said to be. Our products are made either in Turkey or Bangladesh.
Both of these entities has high standards in both ethical working conditions and sustainable production. They also hold certain type of certificates to ensure that.
Fair Wear Foundation
FWF partners with brands and support workers. They take practical steps and test new solutions to show that it’s possible to make clothes in a fairer way. Together, they are making fashion fair for everyone.
Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)
GOTS aims to define requirements that are recognised world-wide and that ensure the organic status of textiles from harvesting of the raw materials through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing all the way to labelling in order to provide credible assurance to the consumer.
Organ Blended Content Standard
The Organic Content Standard (OCS) applies to any non-food product containing 5-100 percent organic material. It verifies the presence and amount of organic material in a final product. Further OCS tracks the flow of a raw material from its source to the final product. This process is then certified by an accredited third party.
Global Recycled Standard
The objectives of the GRS are to define requirements to ensure accurate content claims and good working conditions, and that harmful environmental and chemical impacts are minimised.
OEKO - TEX Standard 100
If a textile article carries the STANDARD 100 label, you can be certain that every component of this article, i.e. every thread, button and other accessories, has been tested for harmful substances and that the article therefore is harmless in human ecological terms.
You can check from the products info section which of these labels each garment carries.
